Oil drives the world economy and is the most traded commodity today. Despite the fall in crude prices, it’s only a temporary thing. OPEC began cutting down oil production to stabilize prices and I’m positive that over this year, gas prices will start to rise again. This should balance the demand-supply equation and presents a good buying opportunity for trading oil futures.
trading in oil is really profitable because as the prices are low one can easily earn lot of profit in long run but be cautious because the the reserves are not available.
Trading Oil is no more or less profitable than any other commodity. Oil has more liquidity because of the massive demand and supply, but you can make just enough off trading soybeans or corn as you can with oil.
The end all, be all question comes down to, did you buy low and sell high?
