I am not sure with which one to start. I am not going to start immediately. I am thinking on reading some books and practicing on paper markets or practice forex markets.

To really learn Swing Trading (which is not the same as merely being informed), you need experience, is what I’m reading. There is an overwhelming amount of investment information available free on the Internet but some of it is valuable and some of it is essentially uninformed opinion. Alot of it is simply incorrect and masquerades as the truth. It can be hard to sort all this out!!! Where can I find no-risk "practice" trading, with real-time data??

I like the idea of the top down approach but here are some of my questions

Should i be picking an industry that is doing the best?

or should i be picking an industry i believe will soon be the best industry?

also how do you compare the company to the industry to see how well it’s performing

THANK YOU!

I’m a new stock investor. I came across a website that explains their services as: "The purpose of our ‘Swing Trades’ is to give short term stock investors a list of stocks for swing trading that have a profit potential, Long or Short over a period of one week." What does the long and short mean in relation to this sentence? Please explain how you use these in trading relating to how they used it in their sentence. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What are some good websites and books that cover strategies, tips, and info on successful swing or position trading in today’s stock market?
