I am 22 years old and a college student. I just recently got into the stock market game of day trading and swing trading. My four thousand dollar investment has grown into a two thousand dollar profit. Based on what you have witnessed and from your own personal knowledge do stock always generally go up and down. One week they close at 1.55 and three weeks later close at 2.00 dollars.

I’m trying to find out how to find stocks that are very bullish and will go up (maybe 1-2% a day), or 4-5% a week.
How do I find out if they are?
Don’t tell me to do my homework.

I said 1-2 or 4-5 days, meaning swing trading/ longer-term day trading.

Hello. May I ask which timeframe is the best for Swing Trading? I know normally Swing Traders would look at Monthly Charts, then look at Daily Charts, and finally, they will look at Hourly Charts. So should I enter via the hourly chart? Or should I look at the minute charts? Thanks

Have you made a living day trading or swing trading? How did you learn? Can you prove that you make a living doing it? Can you recommend some books to read? I would think there are people, Cramer maybe, who have become wealthy and want to share their knowledge out of generosity, but I suspect they are rare. What you would more often find are shysters who sell the hope of making money, but have never been able to do it themselves. Hence they are forced to make a living selling bogus investment techniques to the gullible. So, to repeat my question, if you can honestly say that you make a living trading stocks, how did you learn?
