I feel market is down(not sure for bottom, but). My old relatives who lives in India want to invest in Mumbai Stock exchange. I suggested him to put money in Index ETF, but which ones? Can some one suggest names in India, similar to IIF or IFN as we have in USA.

I haven’t personally invested in ETFS in India , but I have researched little.
There are ETFs like Quantum Index Fund and ICICI SPIcE Fund that track broad indices such as the S&P CNX Nifty and the BSE Sensex respectively.
So you might suggest that to them.
On my blog, I have done some posts on learning about ETFs.

Hope this helps.
