I thought of using technical analysis in forecasting real estate. I know that this market lacks dynamics and uniformity, but I thought maybe some of you know something more than I do. So please, any thoughts, opinions or experience would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Interesting question. I dont think technical analysis as applied to stocks would work well in real property investments, because the asset doesn’t trade often, providing less information than a stock and also because the markets are so local. Benchmarks might be hard to find.
However, I do think you could use your knowledge very well towards REITS. These are real estate portfolios that trade in the stock market and could be very well suited to the insights tech analysis can offer.
Good Luck!
